New Year Message

A New Year, A New Chapter
As the New Year begins, I want to take a moment to reflect and share my heartfelt gratitude with you. This past year was one of profound challenge and transformation. The unexpected loss of my position at the Department of Health and Human Services after 32 years was difficult and disorienting—but it also revealed something extraordinary: the depth of love, encouragement and support that surrounds me. Your kindness, messages, and belief in my work carried me through that transition, and for that, I am deeply grateful.
A Renewed Creative Direction
Out of that experience came clarity and renewal in my studio. My creativity has entered a new phase—an exploration of one-of-a-kind pieces that celebrate precious metals, distinctive gemstones, and the power of symbolism. I continue to be drawn to meaningful design—jewelry that feels both iconic and deeply personal, meant not only to adorn but to empower. Each piece is created with intention, reflecting a balance of form, texture, and story. This renewed focus has brought a greater sense of purpose and joy into my work, and I’m excited to continue evolving in this direction.
A Year of Connection and Growth
This year was also filled with meaningful milestones. I was honored to once again participate in the Valley Craft Network Studio Tour, and to join the Countryside Artisans Studio Tour, connecting with so many who value handmade work and the stories behind it.I was also grateful to have my jewelry welcomed into two wonderful galleries:
 Lock house Gallery in Brunswick, MD, a space that celebrates regional craftsmanship.
 Eastside Gallery in Frederick, MD, a vibrant gallery dedicated to fine art and thoughtfully made work.
Seeing my work represented in these spaces has been incredibly rewarding, and I’m thankful for the support and collaboration of both galleries.
Looking Ahead to 2026
As I look ahead, I’m excited for what’s to come. In 2026, I’ll be offering a beading workshop series in my studio, sharing techniques and creative exploration in an intimate, hands-on setting.

I’m also thrilled to be preparing for a solo show at Eastside Gallery in March, featuring a new collection of Keum - boo and gemstone work that continues my exploration of form, symbolism, and texture.
With Gratitude
Thank you for supporting my work, for shopping small, and for choosing handmade pieces that carry meaning and intention. Your support allows artists like me to continue creating, teaching, and contributing to our local creative community.I’m so grateful to have you along for this meaningful journey.
Here’s to a creative, inspired, and beautiful 2026 ✨
